Oyama Named a Must-Visit in Latest Vancouver Magazine Articles

We’re thrilled to share that Oyama Sausage Co. has caught the attention of Vancouver Magazine! Our shop is proudly featured in two recent articles celebrating the best food Granville Island has to offer.

In “Editor’s Picks: Everything There Is to Eat on Granville Island,” the magazine highlights Oyama as a must-visit destination for food lovers. Our deli counter—stocked with over 400 artisanal products—is described as a standout for both locals and tourists alike.

We’re also honoured to be included in “The Best Granville Island Food According to Top Chefs,” where three of Vancouver’s top culinary talents—Alex Chen, Martin Vargas, and Shiva Reddy—name Oyama as one of their go-to spots. They praise our handcrafted meats and extensive selection, making us proud to be part of their personal favourites.

Thank you to Vancouver Magazine for the recognition—and to our amazing customers and culinary community for continuing to support what we do!

Oyama in the News!

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting the Vancouver Guardian for an exclusive tour of our production facility, offering them a behind-the-scenes look at our manufacturing process. Check out the article below for their perspective on how we’ve been doing things in Vancouver for the past 20+ years.

A heartfelt thank you to all our incredible staff, both past and present, and to our loyal customers who have supported us along the way.
