March 2018 at Oyama

Here is what is happening this March at Oyama….!

Truffle weekend – Friday Mar 2nd – Sunday Mar 4th

For all truffle lovers, this is the time to get your fix! Our own Black Truffle salami, Duck Truffle salami, and Belgian Truffle pate.  Prosciutto cotto al tartufo from Italy.  Cheeses like Oveja con Trufa from Spain (think Manchego with truffles!) and Truffo, a beautiful triple cream with a layer of black truffle filling.

Free-range pork – 5 Sisters Farm – Friday Mar 9th – Sunday Mar 11th

We are very excited to be working again with Five Sisters Farm on Vancouver Island!  Five Sisters is a small family farm that raises registered free-range Black pigs.  In addition to eating off the land, these pigs get spent grain from a local craft brewery, milk, whey, and free-range eggs.  We will have lots of fresh sausages available made with Five Sisters pork!

St. Patrick’s Day weekend – Friday, Mar 16th – Sunday Mar 18th

All Irish eyes will be smiling this St. Patrick’s Day at Oyama!  Guinness Beef Sausages, Irish Spring Chicken Sausages and Irish Potato Leek Sausages are perfect for lunch or dinner.  We also have Irish Corned Beef, Kilkenny Glazed Ham, Dubliner Cheddar and Irish Guinness Cheddar make for delicious, original sandwiches.  Pair with a pint or two of Guinness of course!

Aloha Fest – Friday Mar 23rd – Sunday Mar 25th

An Oyama tradition returns for Spring Break 2018! While Vancouver might still be frosty these sun-drenched flavours are guaranteed to warm you up! Fresh sausages including Maui Beef, Ginger Chicken and Mango Rum Pork as well as some amazing Pineapple-Rum glazed ham.

Easter Weekend – Friday Mar 30th – Monday Apr 2nd

At Oyama, we think Easter is a big deal!  We roll out our famous Swedish Hams and make lots of specialty products for the occasion including Strasbourg terrine, Truffle Duck Salami and Rabbit pate. And of course we will have loads of breakfast sausages and other treats for the family!
