We`ll be keeping you well fed in November at Oyama.  We have again several events coming up!

Thursday Nov. 7th- Sunday Nov. 10th – Oyama`s Cheese Fest and Simmering Sausage Fest

We sell many wonderful local and international cheeses to complement our delicious sausages, so we will be celebrating this and showcasing some sausages with cheese in them (such as our famous cheese smokies), giving you lots of ideas on how to use our cheeses (check out our website for easy recipes) and letting you try lots of things.  Also, we have our wonderful Saucisses Vaudoise and Saucisses à Cuire, the best cold weather simmering sausages.  Order early, we always sell out and we don`t make these very often!  Don`t miss a great weekend at Oyama!

 

Thursday Nov. 21st – Sunday Nov. 24th – Oyama`s Super Famous Out of This World Cassoulet Festival!!!

You simply can not pass up on the Oyama food event of the year!  Our cassoulet is a tradition among Vancouverites.  It serves 2 generously, containing our very own fantastic bean stew with lamb stew and salt pork inside.  In addition, you can purchase Toulouse sausages, various kinds, Duck Confit, 1/2 Duck Confit and don`t forget the Beurre de Gascogne, the ultimate garlic butter topping (except it is made with goose fat!), that final necessary dollop of goodness.  Also, we are offering Cassoulet for 10 – invite your friends and have a cassoulet party.  This has bean stew and some of everything else as well -Toulouse sausages, duck confit, Parisienne à l`ail, lamb stew and salt pork, all for only $150.00.  You really only need the wine!

We only do this once a year, so don`t miss it.  The ultimate comfort food, no heating necessary after a dinner of cassoulet!

 

Friday Nov. 29th-Sunday Dec. 1st

Another round of Boudin Noir for all you blood sausage lovers and possibly Morcilla as well, if there is enough demand.  Check in our store or on Facebook, we will keep you posted.

October is another busy and delicious month at Oyama!

Thursday October 3rd-Sunday 6th – Oktoberfest at Oyama

Come on down and pick up all your sausage needs to celebrate Oktoberfest in style.  An array of Bratwursts, smoked sausages and more for the grill, sauerkraut to cook on the side and plenty of mustards as a compliment.  Add the beer and your party is complete!

Wednesday October 9th-Monday 14th – Thanksgiving at Oyama

Don`t forget to order your delicious Swedish ham for Thanksgiving.  It comes with easy to follow cooking and glazing instructions and will wow your guests forever more!  The only  possible downside is, you may be the one making the Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter dinners forever after!  Order early, we always sell out.  You can email us or call (604)327-7407, to place your orders!   We will also have a wonderful selection of patés, terrines, breakfast and dinner sausages salamis and prosciuttos and much more!

Thursday October 24th-Sunday 27th – Latinofest at Oyama

Arriba!  We make so many different chorizos and we want you to try them all!  How about Cuban, Chilean, Fresh Spanish, Gaucho, Asturias, Castellano, Vasca, Merica…to name a few!  Also, on this same weekend, we will have the Morcilla (Spanish Blood Sausage) and Boudin Noir (French Blood Sausage), as well as Chistorra, a delicious spicy breakfast sausage, great for chilaquiles, omelettes… Order ahead for these specialties!
